We would like to welcome our new volunteer Fred to the CINTA – Uganda family.
Fredpresents with exciting experience and competencies for27 years, with23 years at a more technical level providingfinancial management oversight,accounting andadministration; including monitoring, reporting and enforcement of financial policies, procedures and internal controls. Hasexcellent understanding of both Government and Donor accounting policies and proceduresbased on:
- 15 years as Finance and Administration Managerfor Donor (USAID, UNICEF, NORAD, BTC& AFD)fundedprojects
- 7 years as Chief Accountant for an International NGO/FAM for Donor funded projects concurrently
- 7 years as an Internal Auditor in Public Sector/Government Department
Fred is trained in financial accounting and management withCertified Public Accountants (CPA-K) Certificate, Diploma in Accountancy andalso skilled in Public Administration and Management (Makerere University Kampala),Project Planning and Management (Uganda Management Institute), Project Monitoring and Evaluation (MultitechManagement Consultants), Consultancy Skills Development (Uganda Management Institute), Skills and Strategies for Successful Procurement Negotiations, and Contracting of Services and Works (UNDP/IAPSO).
Fred competently recognizes and considers context and operating environment to develop frameworks and makes practical applications to work situations, formulate and initiate new ideas and methods to improve a process and/or end result.
He has so far developed a financial management systems and on close supervision to ensure all financial procedures are followed as per requirement.
